Connect
Lo Storage Engine Connect permette a MariaDB di accedere a dati esterni o remoti. Per ottenere questo si associano le tabell a diversi Data Type, in particolare file di vari formati, dati estratti da altri prodotti (come Excel) o dati letti dall'ambiente (per esempio DIR, WMI e MAC).
Questo handler supporta le colonne virtuali di MariaDB e permette di definire colonne "speciali" come ROWID e FILEID.
