Spiegazione

Restituisce il nome del giorno della settimana corrispondente alla data specificata. A partire da MySQL 5.1.12 e i tutte le versioni di MariaDB la lingua usata dipende dalla variabile di sistema lc_time_names (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/locale-support.html).
