MariaDB - MySQL connection

Hi,

I have below questions:

1. Can I know which version of MySQL compatibility is provided by below MariaDB?

We have: mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.2.7-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1

2. When is the support of below version expiring? mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.2.7-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1

3. Will MariaDB 10.3 starts supporting MySQL 8.0?

Thank you.

1) It doesn't quite work like that, there are differences. You can view a list at Incompatibilities and Feature Differences Between MariaDB 10.2 and MySQL 5.7

2) 10.2 is supported until May 2022, see MariaDB general release maintenance periods

3) 10.3 has been stable since 2018, so there are no plans to add new functionality to 10.3.
