is Master-Master scheduled replication a possibility

I have looked at the replication options of several DB's. I have a slightly different scenario. I have several sites that require write access, so I assume I will need a Master - Master (times x) configuration. The problem is the remote sites will have intermittent internet access. This is due to poor links in the area and also peak hour cost restrictions, that will require scheduling transfers off hours. storage space will not be an issue. Is there a configuration that will cause the main site and the remotes to just build logging update files that will be pushed down/up for process when the link is available without causing hugh error logs due to the inability to connect during the several hours of link outage? Thank you for any input/ideas on this.
