How to skip lock+dump engine=memory and temporary tables

Hi. I have a database (10.3 for now) with a lot of temporary tables and engine=memory tables. So there are a lot of truncate/create temporary table (ddl) and a lot of read/wrte to engine=memory tables. Because it is much faster, then innodb. But mariabackup locks it and all the database server is hanging. How to tell it to ignore temporary and engine=memory tables? Or at least skip temporary table locking?
