CentOs 7 MariaDB 10.2.9 config file issues

OS: CentOS 7 x86-64 MariaDB: mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.2.7-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using readline 5.1

Modified /etc/my.cnf to define datadir and other server configuration. After the changes, ran the below commands: systemctl stop mariadb.service systemctl start mariadb.service

Would not pick configuration defined in /etc/my.cnf

Below are the config file permissions: -rw-r--r--. 1 root root 3832 Oct 20 15:23 /etc/my.cnf

Need assistance. Thanks

We understand your query but to resolve the issue further please provide below information:

1) Provide my.cnf file

2) Provide SELinux mode using "getenforce" command

3) Also provide mariadb logs
