Broken installation after upgrade from 10.1 to 10.3
Hello all, I was running MariaDB 10.1 and decided to upgrade to 10.3 looking for performance increase. I created a mariadb.list files with the repositories for 10.3 found in mariadb.org closest mirror to me (spain). I run apt-get update and apt-get install mariadb-server and allowed for the installation scripts to run the update removing 10.1 and installing 10.3.
Fixed by removing manually all packets and running clean install again + recover backup data

You don't mention any particular problem, but make sure you carefully follow Upgrading from MariaDB 10.1 to MariaDB 10.2 and Upgrading from MariaDB 10.2 to MariaDB 10.3.
