Access Denied

All my directories are correct, how come I'm getting a message "Access Denied" on command prompt? For example: C:\Program Files/MariaDB 10.1>\bin>sqld ..console Access is denied

Also, C:\Program Files\MariaDB 10.1>\bin>sqld -u root Access is denied

I'm stuck and I can't move on with the tutorial. Please help! Thanks!
